GCM Attends Swire Coca-Cola’s 2026 Supplier Sustainability Conference

On May 8, 2026, Great China Metal was honored to be invited to the “Partner for Future 2026” Supplier Sustainability Conference, hosted by Swire Coca-Cola. Centered on the theme “From Supply Chain to Sustainable Value Chain,” the summit brought together industry leaders to explore innovative pathways toward low-carbon development and industrial ecosystem transformation.

As a leading partner in aluminum packaging, Great China Metal is actively aligning with international sustainability standards. We are committed to a dual-track strategy of “lightweighting” and “circular recycling,” supported by rigorous R&D in process optimization. Our philosophy is that “every fraction of weight saved is a milestone in carbon reduction.” By reducing aluminum usage by just 0.1 grams per can, we effectively lower the carbon footprint associated with both primary aluminum sourcing and the energy-intensive smelting process.

During the event, our representatives conducted a site visit to the New Taipei City Resource Recovery Education Center to observe the practical application of AI-powered image recognition and automated sorting systems within a circular economy. Simultaneously, through benchmarking with industry peers, we are actively integrating best practices—such as SBTi target setting, ISO energy management systems, and digital energy management dashboards—to enhance our data governance capabilities across the supply chain.

Looking ahead, Great China Metal will continue to invest in low-carbon material R&D and technological upgrades. We firmly believe that only by fostering synergy with our value chain partners can we transform challenges into green competitiveness, contributing meaningful impact to the sustainable prosperity of both the environment and the industry.
