GCM Invited to Participate in Swire Coca-Cola Carbon Management Workshop and Tree Planting Activity
GCM Actively Responds to Global Carbon Reduction Trends by Participating in Swire Coca-Cola’s Carbon Management Workshop and Wetland Tree Planting Activity
On April 18, 2025, GCM was invited to take part in the “Swire Coca-Cola Supply Chain Carbon Management Workshop” and joined the wetland tree planting initiative at Guandu Nature Park, demonstrating the company’s strong commitment to sustainability.
Hosted by Swire Coca-Cola, the workshop focused on how companies can follow the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to conduct Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas inventories and develop carbon reduction pathways. Alongside suppliers from various industries, GCM gained insights into the latest carbon accounting standards and net-zero emission strategies, laying a solid foundation for future carbon management efforts.
Following the workshop, company representatives visited Guandu Nature Park to participate in the wetland reforestation program, personally planting native tree saplings to support nature-based solutions and contribute to the ecological preservation of Taiwan.
GCM will take this opportunity to further advance internal greenhouse gas inventories, improve production efficiency, and collaborate with partners to explore low-carbon solutions, working together toward the 2030 net-zero target and building a more sustainable industrial value chain.
