GCM Toufen Plant Energy-Saving Guidance
On May 20, 2026, GCM’s Toufen Plant received professional energy-saving guidance from the Foundation of Taiwan Industry Service (FTIS). Commissioned by the Administration of Industrial Development (AID), Ministry of Economic Affairs, this counseling program provides in-depth energy-saving diagnostic services tailored for manufacturing plants with a contracted power capacity of 800 kW or above. The expert team will diagnose the plant’s primary energy-consuming equipment, including power systems, pumps, air conditioning, air compressors, and fans. This initiative will assist the plant in establishing a quantified energy baseline, proposing concrete improvement plans, and implementing energy management systems.
Moving forward, the team will conduct on-site efficiency measurements for the air compressors to review and formulate implementation measures and subsidy applications, aiming to achieve the goals of reducing energy costs and enhancing competitive advantages. GCM has always attached great importance to sustainable development and carbon reduction. In the future, the company will continue to deepen its efforts in energy conservation and emission reduction, stepping forward steadily toward the goal of sustainable operations.
