The Lean Management Project is underway at the Fugang Plant.
The project is being implemented with the support of professional teams from Ming Chi University of Technology, Vanung University, and National Cheng Kung University, focusing on systematic enhancements in three key areas: production efficiency, quality control, and customer service.
Key Improvement Outcomes
The project has introduced process standardization and the 8D problem-solving method to enhance production efficiency and quality control capabilities. Notably, in the area of customer service, GCM has deepened its collaboration with key partner CHINA CAN PRINTING & METAL MFG. CO., LTD., leveraging a data-driven communication model to improve service efficiency and address issues related to delivery schedules and coordination.
Talent Development and Future Outlook
To date, six professional training courses have been completed, covering topics such as VSM, OEE, and the 8D methodology, helping employees develop a foundational understanding of lean management. Through this project, we will continue working to improve overall equipment effectiveness and reduce process time waste.
