Great China Metal Ind. Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries strictly comply with the laws and regulations of all operating locations. To fulfill corporate social responsibility and protect the fundamental human rights of all employees, the company adheres to internationally recognized human rights standards, including the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” “United Nations Global Compact,” “UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights,” and “International Labour Organization” conventions. The company prohibits any violations or infringements of human rights and treats all employees with dignity and respect.

Human Rights Policy Advocacy

The company emphasizes human rights protection and implements relevant education and training to raise awareness and mitigate risks. In 2024, the company conducted human rights education and training, incorporating labor rights topics and promoting workplace safety courses. Training programs included:

  • Pre-employment training on labor laws and occupational safety for new employees.
  • Annual self-defense fire drill training and disaster prevention exercises.
  • Annual process safety training.
  • On-the-job education for safety and health.
  • Labor law seminars for HR personnel.
  • Quality and safety awareness sessions.

In total, 833 participants attended the training programs, with a cumulative training duration of 2,298 hours.
