Industry-Academia Collaboration
In the area of talent cultivation, GCM actively builds strong partnerships with universities and colleges, promoting practical education through joint projects and co-teaching initiatives. By serving as industry mentors, our professionals contribute to academic instruction by sharing relevant expertise grounded in real-world experience. This approach helps bridge the gap between theory and practice, enhancing students’ competitiveness in the job market.
To give students a deeper understanding of industry developments and future trends, we collaborate with schools to organize plant visits. These visits cover the entire aluminum can manufacturing process, including tooling technologies and mold management operations. In addition, internship opportunities are offered to third- and fourth-year university students, allowing them to learn through hands-on experience. Through this “learning by doing” model, we aim to foster meaningful connections between students, academia, and industry, creating a win-win-win situation for all parties involved.
